We use five different types of wood - Mahogany, Oak, Yew, Maple and Pine. Using only the highest quality hard and soft woods, our cabinet makers turn the raw timber into classic pieces of furniture. Combining the veneers and marquetry with the solid timber, as in the original Longcase clocks, the skill of the craftsman allows us to produce clocks that will be passed from generation to generation. The colours depicted in the photographs can only be used as a guide, but if specific woods or colours are requested we can supply samples to depict a more accurate example of the colour and finish.

Each clock is hand finished to obtain a very beautiful and long lasting timepiece which can be stained to suit individual requirements and the home environment in which it will reside, from the simple country cottage to the grand country house.
